i am going to make this easy and “ditto” Penny’s review!!! we even read the same copy– she had 3 days left on her library rental and graciously dropped it off for me yesterday. i could not put it down! it has been a while since i have have read a book in one day but the weather was chilly, the day was free and the book was FANTASTIC!
i think the only difference from my 4 star review is that i am a bit more on the 3.5 side rather than the 4.5 because the abrupt ending– but overall a terrific read! Looking forward to a lot more books by Ami McKay!!

I do agree about the abrupt ending, but then thought, Madame made a bucket of money off her for first crack so I guess she figured she got all she was going to get really…But still thought maybe something more with Mr. (and Mrs.!) Wentworth might have happened too.
